Santha had a dual personality from the British name, which was Cynthia. When she was in school, everybody called her Cynthia, which was very strange for her. Because she couldn't remember her British name, she wasn't able to tell her name to the class. She felt uncomfortable with new name. But at home she had her real name, Santha, which was an Indian name, and she liked her name as Santha; she didn't care about Cynthia because she at home felt free and didn't worry about her new culture and name. 996631
ReplyDeleteCynthia is the double personality of Santha. At the school Santha is quiet, and obedient with British name "Cynthia" when she left the school she is Santha again. She left Cynthia behind her. Cynthia and Santha is the same person.

The headmistress changed Santha's name to Cynthia, so Santha had a dual personality. The headmistress changed Santha to Cyntha because she couldn't pronounce her name, but to Santha it means nothing because she is only five. 822719
